Joy Ministries Evangelistic Association, Inc. is a non-profit
501 (c) 3 whose mission is to minister salvation and restoration to
God's people. Established in 1989 by Evangelist Danette J.
Crawford, Joy Ministries seeks to share the gospel message both
nationally and internationally through television, conferences,
seminars and creative outreach methods. We believe our mission
field starts in our own backyard and extends to the nations.

The Word of God clearly shows us God's heart for the poor and
needy, the fatherless children and the widows. Joy Ministries helps
meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of these people through our various outreaches.  We believe that investing
in the lives of the poor and fatherless, through education and character development, we will help them break free from the
cycle of poverty.

Danette Crawford is a powerful evangelist, author, speaker and TV host, with a refreshing message of hope and encouragement.  At the age of 19 she started in the ministry as a Youth Pastor, and by 21 was traveling as an evangelist.  Since that time, she has been teaching and preaching the Word of God, and traveling nationally and internationally as a requested speaker.  She has seen thousands of people receive physical miracles, receive deliverance from addictions, and be set free from emotional baggage.

She serves as the President of Joy Ministries Evangelistic Association, which she founded in 1989.  This outreach ministry offers more than a handout – it gives a “hand up” to those in need.  Each year, multiple thousands of people are reached through the numerous outreach programs of Joy Ministries.  From summer reading camps in subsidized neighborhoods to back to work programs for single mothers, Danette not only preaches the Gospel, but does the Gospel – meeting the material, physical and spiritual needs of thousands of people.

Her television ministry, Joy in the Morning with Danette Crawford, is broadcast weekly into over 165 million homes nationally. As a Regent University graduate with a Master of Arts degree in counseling, she ministers on topics such as unforgiveness, roots of rejection, depression and emotional brokenness.  The TV ministry phone lines are continually busy with hurting people seeking to get be free.

In 2010, Danette released her internationally acclaimed book, Don’t Quit In the Pit, which encourages readers of God’s power to turn their situations around.  Her book, Pathway to the Palace, was released in the Spring of 2012 and takes readers on a journey through the lives of Esther and Joseph, telling them how to become the person of influence that God has called them to be.  In August Pastor Danette released her highly anticipated book, “God You’ve Got Mail,” which is about financial turnaround in the lives of God’s people! She has been featured on ABC, CBS, NBC, the 700 Club, Living the Life, TBN, 100 Huntley Street and many other networks, as well as in numerous newspapers and magazines. Danette and her daughter reside in Virginia.
